Ballet for Children A great class for children who want to learn ballet. Using French ballet terms and working with classical music, children learn ballet, barre and center techniques. Luanice Frank has been teaching dance for many years.

Beginning Acting for Kids and Teens (Ages 5 - 14) - NEW!

Acting has never been more fun!  Students will play exciting imagination and team building games while learning valuable performance skills in a positive, fail-safe environment!Hey kids!  Students will learn about story structure, character development and conflict resolution while gaining powerful leadership and social skills- culminating in a performance for family and friends.  Drew, a professional actor with a MFA from N.Y.U. has been seen on such shows as CSI Miami, Charmed, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, and TNT's new hit, Leverage.

Boogie Woogie Dance Time (Ages 4-5)

The perfect class for the budding dancer!  Does your child love to rock out in front of the tv?  Do they wiggle and giggle at the sounds of music?  Look no further!  Here your child will learn beginning ballet, tap and jazzy hip hop all while incorporating social skills, rhythm, balance, choreography and stage presence!  No adult participation required, tap and ballet shoes needed.  Jennifer has been teaching creative arts to children for over 10 years.

Boogie Woogie Dance Time! (Ages 2-3)

A wonderful introduction to music and movement for ages 2-3.  Toddlers will learn the fundamentals of tap and ballet all while integrating basic hip hop and jazz moves.  Each class begins with a circle-time warm-up and moves into dance-inspired obstacle courses and combinations. Each exercise and routine encourages development of motor skills, flexibility and social skills.  Parent participation required.  Jennifer Tseng has been teaching creative arts to children for over 10 years.

Broadway Stars (Ages 6 - 10)

Broadway Stars Gymnastics Beginning gymnastics - fun and fitness! Taught by the gymnastics leaders from Broadway Gymnastic School, children learn basic yet progressive gymnastic skills, including floor exercises, vault, bars, balance beam, flexibility and coordination.

Karate for Kids (Ages 5 - 10)

Karate Join Sensei Dana Thompson as she instructs students using the Shotokan method of Karate, which concentrates on defense (punches, kicks, blocks), deliberation (sparring and grappling), and forms (katas).  Students will progress through a traditional ranking system as they learn skills and techniques that will assist them in every aspect of their daily lives. In addition to traditional Karate, younger students are taught "Stranger Beware" to help keep them as safe as possible in real world situations that are relevant today.  Older students are taught "Street Wise" to help them avoid potentially dangerous situations. Sensei Dana Thompson is a certified Karate instructor with over 15 years experience and 3rd degree Black Belt in Traditional Shotokan.

Little Tumbling Stars (Ages 3 - 5)

Little Tumbling Stars Children learn tumbling, vaulting, balance beam, bar, and strength/flexibility exercises using mat equipment and motor skills. Positive reinforcement is used to help students gain confidence and enhance the joy of movement ? Don't miss this!

Tiger Kick Fit (Ages 3 - 5)

Tiger Kick Fit  (TFK) is a martial arts program specifically designed for 3 - 5 year olds.  Through the use of fun activities, TFK helps children become more physically fit, learn basic karate techniques and develop more self-confidence and better self-esteem.  In addition to learning basic karate, students are taught "Stranger Beware" - an age appropriate self-defense system developed to help children deal with potentially dangerous real-life situations.  Children wear traditional karate uniforms and progress through a modified belt-ranking system.  With the completion of the TFK program, children will gain a better sense of self-awareness that will help them with all aspects of their lives.  The instructor, Sensei Dana Thompson, is a certified Karate instructor with over 18 years of experience in martial arts, and holds a Master of Science Degree in Education, she has taught children for 19 years.
