A gift to the YWCA Santa Monica / Westside will change lives of women and girls in our community.
- $25 pays for 30 cancer survivors to participate in a rehabilitative pool exercise class
- $50 supplies healthy snacks to 30 of our Girls In Action participants for one week
- $100 allows one young girl to participate in a basketball or volleyball clinic
- $250 pays for one middle school to attend a life-changing summer camp
- $500 provides a one-year college scholarship to an alumni of our Transitional Housing and Education Program
- $1,000 pays for financial literacy classes for 50 low-income women
- $2,500 allows five families to successfully transition their children into the pre-school setting
- $5,000 supports 4 months of transitional housing and education program for a former foster youth
While the YWCA Santa Monica / Westside holds special fundraising events such as the Focus Awards in May, Father/Daughter Valentine's Day Dance in February, LA Marathon Team Participation in March, and the Hidden Treasures, Special Places Home and Garden Tour in October, there are many other ways to support the YWCA Santa Monica / Westside.
